A Busy Morning for NJ Firefighters!

This President's day was a busy one for firefighters in two different towns in New Jersey. The brave men and women of Newark, Elizabeth and Hoboken Fire departments spent the morning working to put out an apartment building fire in Hoboken. This particular fire began last night around 7PM but firefighters were still battling the flames on the building's roof until early this morning. It was declared a four alarm fire and tore through the five floors of the building which includes store fronts on ground level and condos above them.

In nearby Jersey City, the fire department was just as busy. Last night, a five alarm fire ravaged through a two story, wood framed building. FoxNY reports, FoxNY reports, "they were not sure how many residents were displaced, but said the property had six to eight second floor residential units. The fire was declared undercontrol around 7:45pm. No cause has been determined".

Nine firefighters were injured in the process of putting out the blaze. We at Paul Davis Restoration of Northeast NJ extend our warmest get well wishes to them and their families!
